The Flame of Hope is stepping forward again this year to end global poverty in The 2015 World Partnership Walk.
Zulfikar Jiwa initiated “The Flame of Hope” team some 4 decades ago as he and his family were deeply touched by the cause of this walk. Since its initiation, the Jiwa family has never missed the walk and this year is no exception! Helping those less privileged and creating awareness about global poverty amongst the community motivates and empowers Dr. Jiwa and the Backs in Action Team to proudly say “We are ambassadors of the World Partnership Walk!”
Canada’s Largest Annual Event To Fight Global Poverty
The World Partnership Walk is Canada’s largest annual event dedicated to raising funds and increasing awareness to fight global poverty. The money we raise together will support Aga Khan Foundation Canada international development projects in Asia and Africa. Literacy classes for women in Afghanistan, better quality education for girls and boys in East Africa, and new livelihood opportunities in Pakistan and Mozambique are just a few of the ways in which the Walk is helping families and communities to become stronger, healthier and more self-sufficient. May 2015 Fundraiser: We’re Donating $3 for Every Chiropractic Visit
As Canadians, we have access to quality education, health services, food and clean water and as such we are asking you to support this worthy cause! Throughout the month of May, Dr. Farrah Jiwa will be donating $3 for every chiropractic visit towards this initiative, so book in today! We are also having an in-office draw for a variety of awesome prizes! Partner with us by making a donation to our team, or sponsor one of Dr. Jiwa’s twins, Iman and Khaliya, and you will be entered into the draw! We encourage each of you to donate online or in our office; for every donation you make you’ll receive a tax receipt and your name will be entered into the draw.

We hope you will join us and our team and take steps at the World Partnership Walk. There’s no admission fee and it’s going to be a fun day with a waterfront walk, food, entertainment, children’s activities and a chance to learn about a cause that is very important to us and many Canadians.
