Foam Rolling: The Ilio-Tibial Band By Backs in Action Vancouver Chiropractor

IT Band Foam Roller Exercise

In the above video, Dr. Shervin Ranjbar and Amrita Gill from Backs in Action in East Vancouver BC demonstrate how to use a foam roller on the Ilio-Tibial Band (or IT Band).

Remember, if you have a lot of pain in an area, avoid rolling over it. Move an inch above and below and decrease tension in the muscle without further aggravating an already inflamed area.

Consult your chiropractor or massage therapist to expedite your return to activity.
