Common reasons to see a chiropractor
People visit us for concerns such as:
- Back pain and stiffness
- Neck and shoulder discomfort
- Headaches associated with neck or muscle tension
- Jaw/TMJ discomfort
- Joint and muscle concerns, including hip pain
- Sports-related strains and discomfort after a motor vehicle crash
Your chiropractor assesses your symptoms and explains whether chiropractic care is suitable. Not every condition is appropriate for chiropractic care; another healthcare provider may be recommended.
Your first visit, without the guesswork
1. Talk and assess
Share your symptoms, health history and goals. Your chiropractor assesses your movement and discusses what may be contributing to your concern.
2. Understand your options
Review the findings and discuss suitable treatments, expected benefits, risks and alternatives before deciding how to proceed.
3. Make a plan together
Your plan may combine hands-on care, soft-tissue treatment and exercises. Progress and next steps are reviewed as you go. Our goal is to make you feel better faster.

Questions before you book
What happens at my first chiropractic appointment?
Your chiropractor asks about your symptoms, health history and goals, then assesses your movement. They explain their findings and discuss suitable care options with you. Treatment is recommended only if chiropractic care is appropriate for your condition.
Does every appointment involve a manual adjustment?
Your plan may include manual adjustments, instrument-assisted techniques, soft-tissue care and exercise. Discuss your preferences with your chiropractor so you can make an informed decision together.
Can I use ICBC coverage for chiropractic care?
ICBC lists chiropractic care among pre-approved treatments during the first 12 weeks after a crash under Enhanced Care. Bring your ICBC claim number and Personal Health Number. Contact the clinic to confirm eligibility, billing and any fees before booking. Care outside this window may require approval.
Can I book for a WorkSafeBC injury?
Call before booking to confirm a suitable chiropractor, claim requirements and coverage for your workplace injury. Approval requirements may vary.
Do you offer direct billing to extended health insurance?
