Manav Sandhu
Manav Sandhu graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia.
He has experience working in both Canada and Australia across private practice, hospital, and community settings.
During his time in Australia, he worked with a particularly diverse range of patients, including neurodivergent individuals, people living with complex lifelong disabilities, and underserved Aboriginal communities. These experiences strengthened his ability to adapt care to the individual and help people work toward goals that are meaningful to them.
Manav takes a practical and individualized approach to treatment, combining exercise, manual therapy, taping, education, and other modalities based on each patient’s needs and goals. He places a strong emphasis on helping patients understand their injury, feel confident in their recovery, and have a clear plan moving forward.
Manav’s passion for Physical Therapy was shaped by his own experiences with injury. After dislocating both knees when he was younger, he had very different experiences with physiotherapy – one that left him frustrated and another that showed him just how much of a difference the right care can make. Through these experiences, he developed his philosophy of care: to listen, explain things clearly, and help patients feel confident that they are moving in the right direction.
Whether someone is recovering from an injury or car accident, returning to work or sport, or simply looking to move and feel better, Manav enjoys working collaboratively with patients to help them make meaningful progress and get back to what matters to them.
In his spare time, Manav enjoys staying active, following sports, trying new food, and travelling. He has visited more than 40 countries and is always looking forward to his next adventure.
