Specializes in relationship distress, trauma, grief, anxiety and depression
Robert is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#14523) and member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). He holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University. Robert’s approach is both holistic and integrative. He adopts a variety of perspectives ranging from Mindfulness and Somatic, Cognitive, Emotionally Focused (EFT), to Trauma based interventions (Observed & Experiential Integration).
Robert has been helping people break free of toxic relationship patterns, heal from trauma, and find creative solutions to life’s challenges. As a Relationship and Trauma Therapist Robert passionately believes that within each person exists the capacity to heal. Old coping strategies, and once helpful patterns of behaviour may pose as barriers to accessing this healing power. The therapist’s role involves a transformative process, helping the client remove such barriers to realizing their fullest potential. In his free time Robert enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing the guitar, cooking, listening to music, keeping fit, enjoying the outdoors and participating in workshops to evolve both as a person and clinician.
